I`m a 21 year old recent college graduate in the field of Communication Media (soon to be 22 in October). I always wanted to be a travel writer growing up! Before that, a vet, a fiction writer, a chef, an archeologists… basically I`ve wanted to do it all!

 I’ve recently figured out what I wanted to do with my life (only 4 years late). So I`m going back to school in the Spring to earn my certification as a Registered Dietetic Technician from a local community college (I figured that this was most the most logical step since I don’t have a Bachleors in Nutrition). After that, I plan on going to graduate school to earn a master’s degree is Nutrition.

I currently have a long haired Syrian hamster named Butters and a demon cat named Ziggy in my apartment in Raleigh. I share that apartment with two other girls, one who is allegeric to cats, boo. I have some other pets, but since they live at my mom’s (2 1/2 hours away), I don’t see them often. But anyway, they deserve to have their 15-minutes of fame, so I have a Golden Retrivever/Lab Mix named Ben and a cat named Buffy (Buffy the Mouse Slayer, get it??).

I`m trying to get in running more (during high school, I did Marching Band, soccer, and volleyball, so I was definitely fit), and hope to enter some races eventually. I have a walk planned for the first weekend in October (American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk), and I`m planning a 5k sometime in December. I`m always trying to watch what I eat and eat healthier!
