Remember this post, reviewing the Japanese shopping service, Shopping Mall Japan? Well, I am now on my 12th day of those auctions. It’s not as slow of a process as I might have thought, but it still is pretty slow, compared to shopping on Ebay. Hopefully it’ll be worth it.
Payment was no problem. They sent me an invoice within 5 days of the end of my auction. I paid, very easily (just replied with my user name since I had a credit card on file), and within 24 hours, my new information was updated on the site.
I checked this morning, one package had arrived in the US office, two are still being shipped, but will more than likely arrive tomorrow, since they were sent together. I`m wating for all of them to arrive to the office before being shipped to me.
My guess? It`ll be 2 weeks at the most before I receive my items.

I’m a doll person. It’s something that has developed only recently, i.e. during my freshman year of college (I`m a senior now, remember?). But not like Barbie dolls or anything like that, but Blythe dolls, and more recently, Momoko dolls.
I’ve always found it interesting how even though an item may just cost $10 in Japan, it will be double or triple that price when put on Ebay for the United States consumers. So I have enlisted the services of Shopping Mall Japan to help me win actions from the yahoo japan auctions. It’s not just for doll things, but for anything (basically), which is up for auction. They only have a special service to order off of Japanese websites.
I placed my first bid last night, and my second today, and won both items. It was an easy process to bid, an automatic system, and each page is very helpful. I found it pretty easy to place a deposit, and they credited my account with 12 hours.
More to come.
